Is this a DIY builder like WiX or Squarespace?

No. Standout Arts only uses  platforms that are intended for professional use only.

What if I don't like something about the colors, fonts, or design that you've presented?

"Website In A Box" websites are intended to be simple, turn-key projects without a lot of high-level customization options (which add to the costs and project timeline). That said, with our $1375 package, up to 2 hours of design or content revisions (which could include color or font changes) are INCLUDED with the package price. Additional changes (or change requests with our $975 package) are billed at a rate of $150 per hour with a 1 hour minimum per request.

Can I update my website myself?

Yes! With hosting, you'll receive a Content Management System (CMS) to allow you to update, add-to, and maintain your website in-house. You can add text, edit text, swap images, and more!

What if I need more than 5 pages?

Additional pages can be added at an additional cost. We can provide you with an estimate based on the scope of the added page(s) or bill by the hour at a rate of $150 per hour (whichever is the cheaper option for you). Also, keep in mind that with hosting, you'll be able to add content to your site through the included Content Management System (CMS) at no added costs.

What limitations will my site have?

Your website will be developed based on the responses that you provide to us within the questionnaire that we'll present to you. This will give us precise information about your preferences. From there, we'll use our judgement and professional expertise to develop your site to include the content, structure, layout, design, colors, fonts, flow and functionality that we feel best represents the responses that you've provided with your own preferences as well as our professional recommendations. Base packages do not include e-commerce, a significant amount of animations or dynamic effects and are intended to be simple by nature. Your website will be limited to 5 pages, 10 images, 2 collections (to accommodate multi-entry items such as Staff members, Services, Announcements, etc.), 1 contact form, and a simple, responsive layout. Revisions or additions of any kind will be billed additionally, not to exceed $150 per hour with a 1 hour minimum per request.

I don't have a logo or any photos.

No problem! In our questionnaire (required for all "Website In A Box" clients), we'll ask you about preferences related to your branding and photos. If you don't have a logo, we can provide you with an estimate for the development of a professional logo or use a typeface based on the preferences you specify within the questionnaire. If you don't have photos, we'll include the purchase and licensing of up to 10 premium stock photos to use on your website - at no added cost.

Are the two pricing options monthly or one-time?

Both packages ($975 without hosting or $1375 to include 1 year of hosting with CMS, SSL Certificate, and up to 2 hours of design or content revisions or post-launch support), are ONE-TIME costs.

With your payment in full ($975 or $1375 depending on your selected package), you will immediately own your website.

Please keep in mind that ALL websites require ongoing domain name (web address) registration (about $20 per year) and annual hosting (about $300 per year with our "Website In A Box" platform with hosting that includes your Content Management System (CMS) and SSL Certificate.
